Hello!!
Madison here, founder and manager of all things at Little Sloans!! We just got back from a fantastic lake trip, so thank you for giving me grace on shipping your orders out! They will all be going out ASAP over the next few days! Today also kicks off our post July 4th sale! All Little Sloans items on our website will be 30% off through Wednesday, so grab something if you like it!!* Would be a great time to stock up on back to school, just saying!! Without further ado, here are all the things I’m loving, sharing, and adding to cart!
· When we travel by car, I pack each of my kids in one of these tote bags. I get the large zip-top with long handles. I can pack a weeks’ worth of clothes in each bag, and they’re just easy to transport!! Plus I do a different color for each kid which makes it easy for both them and me to know who’s is who’s! And as of the time of this writing, the totes are on sale!
· We were at my parents’ lake house for a few weeks, and I brought this travel cornhole game to play down at the boathouse for the second year in a row. My kids love it, and it’s really convenient to take with you for a novelty on a beach or lake trip! It’s also nice if you want to have cornhole but don’t have anywhere to store those massive wooden pieces. One of my boys did lose a beanbag in the lake, but that was definitely user error, and I still recommend this set, ha!!!
· Speaking of travel games, I also brought this travel mahjong set! (Mat linked here). The whole game fits into a small pouch that’s very easy to transport! I’ve heard people complain generally that travel tiles are too small to see, but I found these very easy to play with! I would even recommend this set for at home if you want something that doesn’t take up a ton of space!
· If you’re in need of a hostess gift for this summer, I brought my mom this fabulous ice bucket! You won’t believe where it’s from or the price, and it looks so high-quality in person! I even bought one for myself!!
· Obviously, everyone has heard of the Ninja Creami, but we had never experienced one until using it at my parents’ house. I am usually not a fan of buying super specialized kitchen appliances like this, but my husband of all people, LOVES this thing! He is a big ice cream guy and loved being able to control what’s going in his ice cream. Additionally, our kids are dairy free among other things, which can be kind of hard to find/expensive, so we realized that we’d probably make back the money on this appliance pretty quickly! Now to find a place to store it...
· An impulse purchase at the dollar store before this trip was Princess Uno. I thought my daughter would enjoy it and the boys would tolerate it, but in fact everyone LOVED it! There’s a special rule called the wild power of friendship (lol) that my kids really get a kick out of, and this game has entertained them by themselves for hours on end at this point!
· One thing about me is I’m not very artsy but I can sort of kind of be if someone can tell me what to do. But it doesn’t flow independently from my brain if that makes sense. I ordered one of these watercolor workbooks a few weeks ago and decided to bring it on our trip! I also ordered some watercolors for my kids so we could all do this as an activity together. It was so fun!! I actually really enjoyed painting together!
Don’t forget to shop all of our NEW summer!! I’ll be back next weekend with more fun! As always, feel free to respond to this email with any questions, comments, or shout-outs!!
XO, Madison
