Little Sloans Sunday Scoop - Edition 26

Hello!!

Madison here, founder and manager of all things at Little Sloans!! We had a busy, busy weekend, but I was determined to send out a Sunday Scoop since you’ve gone without for two weeks! The Masters start on Thursday, so make sure to check out The Scottie collection – you know who we’ll be cheering for! Also, if you’ve never watched Full Swing on Netflix, tonight would be a great time to start! Without further ado, here are the items I’m loving, sharing, and adding to cart!

-          I polished some silver pieces for the first time this week, and I think I discovered a great hack. Maybe everyone already knows this but I certainly did not! I lined a plastic drink tub with aluminum foil, then added hot water, baking soda, and salt. I soaked my pieces for a few minutes (the reaction gives off a very bad smell), then finished up with Wright’s Silver Cream, and the tarnish came off pretty easily!

-          I got to use one of my favorite platters this weekend! It’s from R. Wood Studio, which is based in Athens, GA, and I have fond memories of driving up there with my mom and picking out pretty pieces for her kitchen as a child! I have a fair amount of her pottery (being from Atlanta, I received a lot as wedding gifts), but this Scallop Platter in Summer Sky is always one of my faves!

-          I’ve been trying a new deodorant recently, and I really like it!! I am in fact a bit hippie-dippie when it comes to my personal care products, and while some natural deodorants don’t work super well, I have really liked this one – I have the eucalyptus!! I’ve also used this one for years, and I like it as well but felt like trying something new! I’m glad I did!

-          My mom just sent me the Sugar Plum Fairy Vietri Baker, and I can’t wait to use it at Christmastime!! I found it on sale here, and I think it is absolutely perfect for anyone with little girls!!!
