Little Sloans Sunday Scoop - Edition 2

Little Sloans Sunday Scoop - Edition 2

Hello!!

Madison here, founder and manager of all things at Little Sloans! This week, I am finally getting back into the school groove. It is the first year I’ve had all three of my kids in school, and it’s AMAZING! With a little extra time on my hands, here’s what I’m loving, sharing, and adding to cart!

  • One of my favorite Instagram follows is Caroline Chambers. She recently released a cookbook called What to Cook When You Don’t Feel Like Cooking (she also has a substack under the same name), and I’ve been exclusively cooking from it for the last couple of weeks. My favorite recipes so far: refried bean tacos, cauliflower tacos, lemon pancakes, and veggie chili!!
  • We got my second son’s heirloom photos taken recently, and I have almost gotten around to ordering the framed print (it’s on my to-do list). Even though I haven’t actually purchased the print yet, I AM SO EXCITED TO HANG IT IN MY HOUSE! My non-sentimental husband could not care less about these pictures, but I think they are so sweet. They capture each of my children’s personalities so well, and I know we’ll cherish these prints forever! They are expensive, but I think they’re a memento you will never regret paying for. If you’re in Dallas, we’ve used both Sarah Shannon and Domus Aurea and had amazing experiences with both!!
  • My sister is moving into a new house and has been lamenting the fact that she just painted multiple rooms in her old house, including her kitchen. This had me reflecting on the beautiful green that she painted her kitchen cabinets – a green that has now made its way into almost all of my family members’ houses. The color is Sherwin Williams Clary Sage. This color now adorns the walls of my kitchen island and laundry room, my mom’s laundry room, my sister’s kitchen, and my mother-in-law’s bathroom. I was in SUCH a green mood when we chose colors for our house (surprising because of my longtime partiality to the color blue!!), and it definitely inspired the Little Sloans’ logo. I’m a green girlie now :)
  • Finally, college football has started!! I went to Vandy, not always known as a football powerhouse, so the win over Virginia Tech was very satisfying. Little Sloans’ Doris and Paddy collections are inspired by vintage football players and cheerleaders, yet they look fresh and fun for today’s action! These collections are amazing for any fall games, but will look particularly perfect at an SMU or Ole Miss football game, among others. Grab yours here today!!

That’s it for now! I’ll be back next weekend with more fun! As always, feel free to respond to this email with any questions, comments, or shout-outs!!

XO,

Madison
