Little Sloans Sunday Scoop - Edition 12

Little Sloans Sunday Scoop - Edition 12

Hello!!

Madison here, founder and manager of all things at Little Sloans! I posted on my Instagram this week a list of items that my kids are receiving for Christmas. I don’t have the brain space right now to create a true gift guide, so instead, here is a prettified list of the things that will actually be under the tree!! A lot of these items were purchased during Amazon Deal Days, and I would imagine would be similarly on sale this week for their Black Friday sale! Here’s what Santa is loving, sharing, and adding to cart!

Gifts for 4-5 year-old boys

  1. Board Game - my kids are getting Twister, Guess Who, and Zingo. We also have Candyland and Chutes and Ladders which are both good for young kids!
  2. Remote Control Monster Truck - an Amazon Deal Days find that I think will be the most popular gift under the tree!
  3. Camera - seems like something they’ll love!
  4. Melissa and Doug Ice Cream Shop Toy - we’ve played with this before at other play places and they’ve loved it! Which obviously means they won’t play with it when we own it…we shall see!
  5. Spider-Man Costume - my boys loveeeee dressing up, and this is a costume they’ve been asking for for a long time!
  6. Shark slippers - to be honest, I have ordered shark slippers, grinch slippers, and Darth Vader slippers and haven’t decided yet on which ones they’ll like the most!!! Stay tuned, all from target!
  7. Hanna Anderson Spider-Man Pajamas - are you sensing a theme??? My kids don’t own any clothing with characters, but I finally gave in to a pair of Spider-Man pjs from Walmart a few months ago. My kids won’t wear any other pajamas now, and said pajamas are also way too small. So we’re upgrading (and they’re majorly on sale right now!)
  8. Young Wild and Friedman Superhero Sensory Kit - we’ve had some of their small kits, so I know they’ll love this!!!
  9. Bike - my oldest loves biking and his paw patrol bike is officially way too small. So he’s getting a new one!! Probably a Spider-Man helmet too!
  10. Wheelbarrow - this is actually a birthday present for my four-year-old whose birthday is next week. He opened it this morning and LOVED it!! Bonus points for it being an outdoor toy and not junking up the playroom!!

Gifts for 2-3 year old girls

  1. Zingo - board games for everyone!! We’ve never played it but Kate at Naptime Kitchen recommended it, and her recs are always great!
  2. Remote Control Barbie Convertible - I know Hattie would be really jealous of her brothers’ monster trucks, so she’s getting a Barbie convertible!
  3. Camera - to match her brothers!
  4. Melissa and Doug Vanity Set - I think Hattie will love this!
  5. Spider-Man Girl Costume - lol lol lol I can’t believe I purchased this but seems like a good cross between Spider-Man costumes (Hattie’s preference) and princess costumes (mommy’s preference). Hoping it’s a gateway drug to princess dresses!
  6. Bunny Slippers - these are from Amazon and they’re so cute!!!!
  7. Hanna Anderson Rainbow Pajamas - Hattie loves the Hanna Anderson short pajamas, and one of her favorite dresses has rainbows all over it so she’ll be pumped for these.
  8. Young, Wild, and Friedman Ballet Sensory Kit - what kid doesn’t love playdoh???
  9. Le Toy Van Dollhouse - I’m personally so excited for this dollhouse!!! I hope Hattie loves it
  10. Melissa and Doug Teddy Bear Puzzle - I remember having this when I was a child and loving it, so now Hattie will get it!!!

Stocking stuffers

  1. Sticker Wow - these are so fun!!! My kids love them although use up all the stickers in about 5 minutes. But it’s at least a quiet 5 minutes!
  2. Toddler Knives - I feel like this is a thing people always recommend for toddlers??? So each child will get one and I’ll report back!
  3. Spider-Man Figure - more spidey, and yes Hattie is getting one too.
  4. Personalized Brushes - I am so excited for these!!! My mom instilled in us a healthy fear of lice, and I always cringe when my kids share the same brush. So even though these are certainly marketed towards girls, I got the blue ones for my boys too!!!
  5. Bandaids! - stockings are always a good excuse for new bandaids.
  6. Boka Watermelon Mint - my kids literally eat this toothpaste. If that’s not a glowing review, I don’t know what is!
  7. Two Sisters Bow - I got these hand painted bows for my daughter and nieces with their initials!!

And since you know I love a themed gift, here are some Little Sloans pairs that would make great presents under the tree!

That’s it for now! I’ll be back next weekend with more fun! As always, feel free to respond to this email with any questions, comments, or shout-outs!!

XO, Madison
