Little Sloans Sunday Scoop - Edition 1

Hello!!
Madison here, founder and manager of all things at Little Sloans! This week, my children started school, and things have been off to a great start! With a little extra time on my hands, here’s what I’m loving, sharing, and adding to cart!
- For the longest time, I would only let my boys wear these Keds Graham Sneakers. Sadly for me, my oldest outgrew them at the beginning of summer. The only shoes he wanted (heavily influenced by boys in his Bible study class) were these New Balance Boas. While not my all-time favorite look, I will admit that they have made getting ready in the morning go much smoother than before!!
- Going back to school means filling and re-filling water bottles, lunches, and snacks. The GOAT water bottle in my opinion is this Trixie water bottle. Unfortunately, this water bottle is not readily sold in the U.S., but you can order it on Etsy. My mom brought them back from Paris for my two boys, and I scoured the internet to find one for my daughter. What makes them so special you ask? Two things: 1) They TRULY don’t leak. Many water bottles are touted as leak-proof and are not. These ones ARE! 2) They are metal but not nearly as heavy as other widely-available water bottles. And when I’m toting around three of these, I want them to be as light as possible!
- We decided to potty train my daughter this weekend. As part of potty training, we’ve been trying to pump her full of liquids. She is not super adept at drinking juice boxes, and I didn’t want a sticky mess all over my house, so instead we gave her Taylor Dukes Wellness Organic Lemonade. We had never tried it before, and my kids are loving it!! And Hattie’s drank so much of this lemonade, she’s had many opportunities for potty success this weekend :)
- Lastly, school means PLAY CLOTHES! Our bestseller this week was our Taylor Dress, which sold out in a few days – I’m still in shock. Our other bestsellers of the week were The Chrysanthemum Bubble for girls and The Reid Short Set for boys. We did an Instagram story on how to transition our clothes from early fall to later fall, which had me thinking about outerwear. My favorite outerwear picks are this rosebud sweater (amazing quality for the price!), this fleece (love for both boys and girls), and this quilted jacket.
That’s it for now! I’ll be back next weekend with more fun! As always, feel free to respond to this email with any questions, comments, or shout-outs!!
XO,
Madison
